Don't mind the hand in the top left corner.
That's not supposed to be there.
Happy belated Halloween!
It was obviously Olivia's first Halloween.
Because Olivia's due date was Halloween,
Before she came,
We didn't think we would be able to celebrate it this year,
But what do you know?
Olivia clearly refused to come into this world missing Halloween.
Now that's our rebel child!
Bev (Erin's mom) decorated the house,
And Erin helped her hand out candy.
It was fun watching kids trick-or-treat.
I mean let's admit,
Erin and I are in our early 20s,
And Halloween hasn't exactly been about candy for some years,
So last night was really reminiscent of the old, innocent days.
We can't wait to bring Olivia trick-or-treating!
Olivia brought positive change to our lives, really.
Everything feels like it was meant to be.
We simply can't imagine our lives without her.
Children are our contributions to the future.
One day our children will outlive us and make the important decisions in the world.
I want Olivia to make the right choices,
Know the difference between right and wrong,
And learn from her mistakes as not to repeat them.
I'm sorry for not posting anything yesterday.
I thought I'd put up a bunch of pictures today to make up for it.
Olivia also had a doctor's appointment yesterday.
She now weighs 6 lb 15 oz.
Her height hasn't changed much.
The doctor didn't have much to say other than she's healthy.
That's not bad news,
But this doctor doesn't seem like he takes much interest in what he does.
We're looking for a pediatrician in a better part of the city.
Olivia happened to suddenly,
We weren't totally prepared.
Her next appointment isn't until just before Christmas.
I think that's when she gets her shots.
I'm sure that'll be painful for both, her and Erin.
