Now we know what they're up to when I'm gone.
This is what I work for.
It's priceless.
It's Erin's responsibility to take pictures during the day.
She's the Art Director of this blog.
She's always been an artist for as long as I've known her,
And she's an awesome photographer.
One of these days,
I'll post a collection of her work.
It's hard to take pictures on our camera,
Because the flash doesn't work.
Or at least we've never been able to figure out how to use it.
I'm pretty sure it just doesn't work though.
We were going to take it back,
But I misplaced the receipt,
And it all just seemed like a hassle,
So we never got around to it.
Back then, we didn't have a car,
So we had to take the bus to do anything,
And basically, the flash on this camera has never been worth the travel across town.
Olivia is on a nightly schedule,
And I hear this is common for newborns.
Even when Erin was pregnant with her,
There was more movement at night.
Towards the end of the pregnancy,
Olivia moved so much at night,
It kept Erin from getting a good night's sleep.
She's still on that same schedule for the most part.
Some nights are better than others,
But Erin does a great job keeping up with her.
We're going to try a few things that we learned online,
But at the same time,
We don't want to disturb her sleep.
We'll keep you guys posted on how that goes.
